Neighborhood Watch Program (In collaboration with the Watsonville Police Department)

The Neighborhood Watch Program is a community based organization of neighborhood residents working together with the Watsonville Police Department and the Neighborhood Services Division to prevent crime. *Neighborhood Watch Program Goals The goals of the Neighborhood Watch program are to make homes and families less inviting targets for crime, to cooperate with law enforcement through neighborhood block groups to control crime throughout the community and to provide opportunities for neighborhood leadership development. For more Information or to organize a Neighborhood Watch, Contact Neighborhood Services at 763-5678. *Neighborhood Action Plan The Neighborhood Services Division provides resources and technical support for neighborhood groups and assists in the development of a one year neighborhood action plan based on the group's goals and objectives. * Community Policing The Watsonville Police Department participates in each meeting to promote the community policing philosophy.
